Meet Brigitte Giroux, HIS, Reg AHIP
For 20 years, I’ve witnessed remarkable and innovative advancements in the audiology field. I’m proud to be a part of this progress and to have a positive ripple effect in people’s lives—helping them reconnect with loved ones, rediscover the joy of music, and, most importantly, support successful aging and maintain their quality of life.
My goal is to empower you to take charge of your hearing health and take steps today to protect your future and slow down decline.
One day, driven by curiosity and concern, I decided to take a genetic test.
The results revealed that I carry one copy of the Alzheimer’s gene—meaning my personal risk is estimated to be two to three (2-3x) times higher than average.
I’ve lived with tinnitus for the past 10 years, so I understand it firsthand. My experience gives me a unique perspective as both a professional and someone who truly understands. It allows me to approach tinnitus care with empathy and real-world solutions that genuinely help.
I believe that knowledge is power. Knowing your risk doesn’t mean living in fear—it means living with purpose. Each step we take today—whether it’s getting your hearing tested, or starting treatment or learning something new—is a step toward protecting our future.
